Just a quick post today.

On New Years Day someone hit our car and took off. We had a witness and the police are investigating but at this stage it looks like our insurance company will be paying for the damage done. We need to pay an excess and we will be without a second car for a week which is doable but very painful. It is going to be a long week. Please pray for us.

I'm glad to hear the insurance company will pay for your damages. Praying it doesn't take a week for the repairs to be finished and that your week goes from doable and painfull to easy and carefree!
God Bless

HI Therese

It sound like really tough luck. Even if they had caught them a lot do not have any insurance. I have only now began to drive our old blue Camry because we have finally had the money to get 3rd party property insurance, t old car is not worth insuring. However I do not want the complications that come with not having at least that

Are you dropping your husband off to work so you can have the car during the day as we have done that. Whilst I am home on long service leave, he is getting the bus which is easier as there are no parks in town

Hope thing get better for you

Karnak,

I will be taking Steve to work this week just because of the heat and so that I can take the other children to school too. Usually Steve would ride to work but in this heat it just too much.

Daniel our eldest also takes the car that is in being fixed out a lot. We don't let him drive our Volkswagen because it is a big and too new a car. We also have it insured for drivers over 30. I am realizing how independent he is and how much I rely on him to help out with the after school activities.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
