Wordless Wednesday.

Here is my new preserving kit.

I preserved our first three jars of chutney.

Here is some pumpkin bread and pumpkin scones that I also made today.

Yum! I'm jealous. I need to be baking/cooking more. Tom and I are trying hard to loose weight so I need to get some better cooking habits. Thanks for the inspiration.

That's our favorite bread here - pumpkin bread! Yum.

That's an interesting preserver. Is it just sold down there/under?

We are praying for Australia. My husband has been especially shocked as he knows all the particulars about the fire(being a fire fighter).

The pumpkin bread looks absolutely delicious. Could you post the recipe some time, please?

We will also be preserving next year. Our fruit trees will be three years old and starting to produce enough fruit to bottle. :)

I didn't realise how easy it is to preserve with the new preserving outfits until I had a look on the Fowler Vacola site.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
